Naga Gym
Where discipline meets the ring
Welcome to Naga Gym
Naga Gym is not a commercial fight camp built for visitors. It is a working Muay Lao environment where training, daily life, and ambition exist in the same space.
Located in Pakse, in southern Laos, the gym started its current form in 2024 under the direction of Sanni, who reopened and structured the place while keeping its original raw identity intact. What exists today is not a polished sports facility, but a living gym where local fighters train, grow, and spend most of their daily life.
From the moment you enter, the atmosphere is immediate. There is no separation between “sport” and “life” here. Young fighters move around the space, coaches are constantly correcting, talking, or demonstrating, and the rhythm of training never really stops. It is busy, sometimes chaotic, but always alive.
This is a place shaped by Muay Lao as a lifestyle rather than a service.
We are proud to announce that Naga Gym is officially recognized under the ມວຍລາວ Muay Lao Federation.
Life Inside the Gym
Inside Naga Gym, around ten young fighters train and live together. Most of them are between childhood and early adulthood, and for many, the gym is both a training ground and a daily home.
The environment reflects real local life in Laos. Fighters grow up here, eat here, recover here, and prepare for fights that often connect directly to their families and their communities. Some come from nearby villages, others travel in and out depending on work, school, or seasonal farming.
This creates a rhythm that is far from structured commercial camps. Training is intense, but life around it remains flexible. Fighters may disappear for a week to help their families, then return fully focused. Others stay full-time and build long-term fight careers.
Foreign students train in the same space as the fighters and under the same coaching team. Sessions are shared, but naturally adapted to each level. Beginners, experienced fighters, and visiting practitioners all train within the same ecosystem, each progressing at their own pace.
The atmosphere is not designed for comfort. It is designed for consistency, discipline, and real development.

Coaching & Culture
The gym is led on the ground by Coach Nikon, a head coach who built his experience through years of fighting and training in Thailand before returning to Laos. His approach is direct, technical, and highly adaptive. He does not over-explain; he corrects, adjusts, and expects repetition until movement becomes natural.
Alongside him, Sanni supports the structure of the gym and its development, helping maintain an environment where local fighters can train seriously while also opening the space to international students.
What makes Naga Gym different is not only the coaching level, but the absence of separation between fighters and life outside training. The gym is connected to families, local jobs, school schedules, and community events. Some fighters compete in local shows organized by the gym itself, where they gain real fight experience in a familiar ecosystem.
For visitors, this creates a rare balance: access to authentic training without being placed inside a rigid, performance-driven camp structure. You are part of the training environment, not isolated from it.
The result is a place where discipline exists, but pressure is not artificially manufactured. Progress happens through consistency, not obligation.
Come and train among real Lao fighters.
